Beauty Must-haves for the month of May

Over the past month, i've been thinking that i'd really like to do a 'Beauty must-haves' blog for every month. I figured it might be a really good way, to share with you the new products that i think are really worth giving a try each month. So during this month of May i've picked out 5 products that i havent been able to live without...

1.)

The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat - £25.00 ( boots retail price )
Now i know that this is a little pricey, but i have never found a product that is so worth the money ever, apart from this one. It is fantastic for dark under eyes, facial colour correction, covering blemishes, or even just using it as a basic eye primer. The clicking applicator at the end of the stick is really great, as it only releases a small amount of product at a time, so to ensure you dont use too much. Finally this product lasts for a long time, such good value for money.

2.)

Batiste Dry Shampoo - £3.99
To be honest, Batiste dry shampoo is really an all year round favorite, but i thought i would include it into my first blog about my best products.
This dry shampoo is the worlds best life saver and helpful aid ever. It is brilliant for quickly correction slight dirty hair, if maybe you haven't had time to wash your hair or have got a bit hot during the day and feel like it needs a freshen up. It also comes in a mini size, which is great to take in a suitcase or just in your handbag everyday.

3.)

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Shade 700 - Nude delight - £ 6.29
I previously blogged about this lipstick in my make up deals post a number of weeks ago. But i wanted to include it in my May must haves because i've been using it non stop ever since i bought it at the begging of May. This nude/ warm color is so perfect for spring, and looks so natural with any look, whether you wearing it on a night out or just in the day, its such a great color for every occasion and great for the spring season.

4.)

Sebastian Potion 9. - ( size dependable - £9.95 -£18.45 ) - BeautyBay.com
Unfortunatly, years of using straighteners on my hair has left me with a lot of damage, which never looks very healthy or shiny. However i was recommended that i try using this, and i'm so glad i did. Sebastian Potion 9 has really helped improve the quality of my hair, and made it much easier to manage. It is also noticeably more nourished, soft and shiny after washing. A really great product for being on the way to better hair.

5.)

Lancome - LA base Pro - £28.00

Over the years i've tried and tested a variety of eye primers, such as Urban Decays primer potion, Benefits 'Lemonaid', and MUA's simple primer, which have all been great. However i've never really found a full face primer that i felt really worked well for me personally, until a good friend recommended i tried this. It's super soft on the skin, and although it feels like a serum, it isn't oily once on the skin at all, just leaving the skin feel super soft, and helps keep your makeup on all day without any fading or wearing off.

I really hope you've enjoyed reading all about my 5 favourites for this month, and hope that you've found it helpful/useful!

Very small Matalan Jewellery haul

Hey everyone, i'm sorry that i havnt blogged in a while, i've been stressing about my exams and just havent really been able to have time to get to my large list of topics i still need to blog about.
However i've taken some time out from revision today and thought i would give you just two small blogs for today, and then post my slightly bigger more exciting blogs within the next week or two.

My first blog is just a really small Jewellery haul. I went shopping the other day, and i decided to go into Matalan. Now if any of you abroad havent heard of Matalan, its a relatively cheap, clothing store for men and women, but it also sells homewear.
I always tend to find that they have great jewellery reduced sections all year round, and as you probably know from my previous blogs, jewellery is my favourite, and so whenever i'm passing a Matalan i always try to go and see if they have any good jewellery bargins.
I found 4 things this week that i really loved and were all reduced.

Firstly i found this really cool chunky necklace. I'm more of a gold then silver person myself and i love big statement pieces, so i thought this was really great. Although it looks really heavy to wear, its not at all, and looks really good with any plain outfit that you want to make just that little bit more adventurous or fun.
£8.00

Secondly i saw this cross necklace. Now over the past 6 months or so crosses have become so in fashion, i see them everywhere, on shirts, socks, bags, purses, there everywhere. And i told myself that i didnt really want to get drawn in to this 'craze' , however i say this cross necklace and realized it was also a mood necklace too, where it changes color depending on how your feeling. I always loved those as a kid so thought i'd get it.
£2.50

Finally, i bought two rings to add to my collection.
Firstly this rose gold twisted piece with small gems.
so sweet and delicate.
£2.50

Lastly this larger, more bold ring.
with gold hoop setting, and a huge dark stone inset on the front.
£2.50

I hope you've enjoyed reading my little haul, and maybe seen something you like..
watch this space for my ring collection, and 5 May must have blogs. coming soon.
